Einstein’s 2 postulates:

1. principle of relativity
2. the speed of light in vacuum is the same for all observers, regardless of the motion of light source or observer
   • since $v=\frac{d}{t}$ is constant, the consequences include:
     • time dilation
     • length contraction
     • relativity of simultaneity
